Tatiana von Furstenberg

Tatiana von Furstenberg is a writer and director. Tatiana von Furstenberg’s career pursuits have focused on empowering independent businesses, designers, artists, performers and philanthropic entrepreneurs. She began work promoting artists during her tenure at the “Steinberg and Sons”, whose purpose was to provide independent designers with a place to sell their wears. Tatiana von Furstenberg has also been directly involved in the arts herself, co-curating a mixed media show at the Alleged Gallery in New York City. Most recently, Ms. von Furstenberg has focused her interest in artistic expression and the human experience as a film writer and director. Tatiana von Furstenberg's latest films are Tanner Hall (recently featured at The Toronto International Film Festival) and Tyrolean Riviera (a film short which just completed filming in Austria). Tatiana von Furstenberg studied Modern Culture and Media, Comparative Literature and Education at Brown University and did graduate work in Applied Psychology at New York University. She was recently honored by the Henry Street Settlement for her commitment to the organization and community they serve. Tatiana von Furstenberg also serves as the Program Director for The Diller - von Furstenberg Family Foundation, where she is continuously inspired by the work of the many social service organizations with which the Foundation is involved.
